Love Triangle

Indulging myself again with the Phantom of the Opera fanart. Erik, Christine, and Raoul, locked in a triangle of mist, intrigue, and painful love. Erik, ever the haughty Phantom, poised at the apex of the triangle with Christine struggling between he and Raoul. Blahblah, you can see everything for yourselves, my pets.

Geh, several times during the production of this artwork I questioned whether or not I had forgotten how to color, but I think I managed to overcome most of the color problems. Raoul...well, Raoul looks more like the Phantom than Erik does (so ghoulish!), but I'm pleased with this. It's pretty (nevermind the background, friends), and Erik and Christine turned out nicely. I actually considered making Erik pale and skeletal and Christine blonde ala Leroux's novel, but I'm already attached to their movie personas (so meh).

Oh, and please forgive the cliche. I couldn't resist.
